S2kp2 - slip 2 sts at once as if to knit, knit the next st, pass the 2 sl sts over the st that was just knit. (Aka: central double decrease)

Eyelet Ripple Edging (in the rnd)

Rnd 1: *Yo, k4, s2kp2, k4, yo, k1; rep from * around.

Rnd 2: K around.

Rep Rnds 1 & 2 until fabric measures approx .5” (2 cm) from total length listed on Basic Sock Pattern.

Rnd 3: K around.

Rnd 4: P around.

Rnd 5: *Yo, k2tog; rep from * around.

Rnds 6 - 7: K around.

Rnd 8: P around.

Section 5

Eyelet Ripple Edging (knit flat)

Row 1 (RS): K3, sl m, *yo, k4, s2kp2, k4, yo, k1; rep from * to m, sl m, k3. (133 sts)

Row 2 (WS): K3, sl m, p to m, sl m, k3.

Rep Rows 1 & 2 six times. (12 rows worked total)

Rows 3 - 4: K3, sl m, k to m, sl m, k3.

Row 5: K3, sl m, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to m, sl m, k3.

Row 6: Rep Row 2.

Rows 7 - 8: K3, sl m, k to m, sl m, k3.

BO all sts loosely.
