Snapdragons Socks

Snapdragons Socks

These ribbed shortie socks are just right for Summer with a simple lace motif that’s easy to memorize & is inspired by a favorite flower in our garden, the Snapdragons! Vertical lines of 1x1 Half-Twisted Ribbing mimic the flower stems and greenery while simple stacked lace clusters create the appearance of Snapdragon blooms across your feet.

The pattern includes variations for both options and uses a short-row heel along with a standard wedge toe, but feel free to substitute your favorites as needed.

This pattern is written for 3 sizes: Adult S – Adult L. It is quite stretchy though, so you can adjust the length to customize the fit.

This purchase is for the single sock pattern only. Please visit the 2021 Indie Sock-a-Long page and register there if you are wanting to recieve this pattern & have a new sock pattern emailed to you the first Saturday of each month in 2021.

The needle size listed is the needle size I regularly use, but I am a very loose knitter so you may need to go up 1-2 needle sizes to get a fabric that you like. Most knitters do well with US size 2 (2.75 mm) & if you are a tight or newer knitter you may want to try a US size 3 (3.25 mm). If you know your standard needle size for sock knitting, use that instead of what I have listed (the size that gives you gauge).

Make sure that your beginning of round marker is different from your other markers so you can tell the difference. Locking markers are recommended .
