Knit in Public MKAL: Clue 1

Today is the day! Take your knitting to the streets and share your love of handicrafts with the world!!

If you're playing along with the Knit in Public Mystery Knit-A-Long, you're probably looking for your first clue so here you go:

Clue 1:

Trinity Stitch Note: After this section’s final Row 4, knit 1 row with MC before beginning Garter Stitch in CC.

Using MC, work the Set-Up rows:

Set-up Row (RS): K3, p to last 3 sts, k3. [54 (78) sts]

Follow the Trinity Stitch Chart OR work the pattern as follows:

Row 1 (WS): K3, *(k1, p1, k1) into the next st, p3tog; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3. Rows 2 & 4: K3, p to last 3 sts, k3. Row 3: K3, *p3tog, (k1, p1, k1) into the next st; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.

Repeat rows 1-4 as many times as you would like, ending after Row 4. Knit 1 row.

Change to CC (if using) and work in Garter Stitch until you’re ready to work another clue or the BO.
