This week I'm sharing some info about the next round of Club Yumi knitting kits!
We'll be taking an imaginary knitting journey Across the Pond during the months of June, July, and August 2018. Join us as we venture to Scotland, Ireland and England via wool & needles without ever leaving the comfort of our homes! Each month a themed knitting kit will be delivered to your door & will include a pattern, yarn & either a snack, body care item or knitting accessory. Everything that you need for the staycation of your dreams!
At Club Yumi we celebrate local artisans, indie dyers and small businesses by thoughtfully bringing them together to create one-of-a-kind mystery knit kits. I've spent the last year scouring the fiber arts world for special products that make my heart sing and I know you'll love them too! Each kit features a hand-dyed yarn, a gift from a small business, and a knitting pattern created specifically for the kit. (There will be approximately 400g of fingering-weight yarn total between all 3 kits.)
Each month Club Members will get a carefully curated surprise package that will be lovingly assembled, wrapped and will contain:
1-2 100g Skeins of High-Quality, Small-Batch Yarn ($25-$60 value)
An Exclusive Knitting Pattern designed by Shaina Scott (YumiYarns) ($5 value)
A Coordinating Gift Item or Accessory ($5 - $10 value)
All Spots Have Sold Out!
We've sold out all the open spots for this round of Club Yumi much earlier than anticipated, but you can still get the patterns if you're an Alpaca or Silk level Patreon.
Don't know what a Patreon is?
Patreon is a way for you to join and support the Yumi Yarns team by pledging a small amount of money each month towards helping us to develop more amazing knitting and crochet content for you & the rest of the fiber arts community! This is a voluntary contribution so you pick how much you would like to pledge. The more you pledge each month, the more rewards you receive as a member of this elite team.
How do you get access to the Across the Pond knitting patterns before they're released to the public in September?
Register to become an Alpaca or Silk Patreon through the YumiYarns Patreon page & you will receive the patterns through email when the Club Yumi members receive theirs each month. When the patterns launch on Ravelry in September, you'll be sent a link to download them or add them to your Ravelry library as well.
If you're bummed that you missed your shot to get in on this round of kits, pop over to the Yumi Yarns Shop and snag a spot in the October-December 2018 trio of kits: Loving Local! This trio of kits will highlight locally produced yarns from the Midwest of the United States. Some are undyed & some are naturally dyed, but all are absolutely gorgeous! Spots are limited and I can't guarantee that there will be any remaining kits at the end of the pre-order so if you're thinking about signing up, I'd do so sooner rather than later.
PS: If you would rather have a reminder closer to October, please sign up for my e-mails so that I can reach you. I'll never spam you or sell your information, we're friends and friends wouldn't do that to each other.
