💕 Knit for the Girls 2025: Join the Movement, Knit for a Cause

Every October, our fiber community comes together to do something truly special — we knit for a cause that touches nearly every one of us. 💗

I’m so excited to share that YumiYarns is a proud sponsor of the Knit for the Girls (KFTG) 2025 Fundraiser, happening October 23–31, 2025! 🎀

Together, makers from around the world will raise funds for breast cancer research in support of Breast Cancer Canada and NBCF Australia, with the help of our wonderful friends at Thread & Maple, The Grocery Girls, and Louie & Lola Yarns.

Over the past four years, this community has raised more than $212,000 CAD ($155,000 USD) — proof of what happens when fiber artists unite for good.

🧶 How to Join the Fundraiser

Joining the Knit for the Girls fundraiser is simple — and every stitch makes a difference!

💗 1. Make a Donation

Head to the official fundraiser page on Thread & Maple to donate directly.

👉 Every $5 donation equals one raffle entry to win incredible prizes from indie dyers, pattern designers (including YumiYarns!), and other small businesses around the world.

🎁 2. Win Amazing Prizes

Throughout the week of the event, Thread & Maple will announce daily and grand prize winners.

This year, I’m contributing a bundle of 3 YumiYarns patterns of the winner’s choice! You can choose your favorites from my library of cozy, colorful designs — perfect for your fall knitting queue. 🧦🧣
