Springtime Wings: A Quiet Start with Big Potential

Hi friends,
As we wrap up the first few weeks of our Springtime Wings CAL, I just wanted to take a moment to send a little love and gratitude your way. Whether you've already picked your yarn or you're just quietly soaking in the project from the sidelines, thank you for being part of this cozy, creative space.
Sometimes, these make-alongs start with a joyful flurry of posts and pictures—this one has been a bit quieter. But that’s okay! In fact, it’s kind of perfect for what this project is all about: slowing down, finding comfort in the process, and letting our creativity take flight in its own time.
Community Highlights
So far, I haven’t seen many Springtime Wings projects pop up in the group or on Instagram—but that doesn’t mean the magic isn’t happening. Whether you’re still choosing your colors, waiting for the perfect yarn, or just haven’t had the bandwidth to start stitching yet, your creative energy is still part of this CAL.
I’ve been working on my own version in soft, spring-inspired shades, and it’s already bringing that dreamy butterfly motif to life in the most satisfying way.
Lessons Learned This Month
One thing I’ve really embraced this month is the joy of crafting without rushing. Traveling for H+H and stepping away from my hooks and needles for a bit reminded me how valuable it is to return to making slowly and intentionally. Not every stitch needs to be shared right away. Sometimes the quietest moments of creating are the most nourishing.
Looking Ahead
While Springtime Wings will continue to be our focus through the end of May, I’ve already got something lovely in mind for June... no spoilers yet, but let’s just say it pairs beautifully with sun-drenched afternoons and a glass of iced tea.
Want to make a guess? Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear what you’re hoping for in next month’s Comfort Crafting Club project!
Thank You
As always, thank you for being here. Whether you’re an active participant or a quiet supporter, this community wouldn’t be the same without you. Springtime Wings is still open to join anytime, and the pattern is available now for Comfort Crafting Club members on Patreon and in the shop.
Take your time, enjoy the stitches, and remember: your pace is perfect.
Yarny hugs,
Shaina
