Moms. We all have one or we are one. In the US, today is Mother's Day and it's a beautiful day to curl up with some knitting while surrounded by family. The only Mother's Day tradition that my I've ever held up is making things for my mom. She's always been my biggest supporter and fan and no matter if it was macaroni glued to some paper or a hand made spa cloth with some lovely soaps, she is always so pleased with anything that I've ever made. (Even if, truthfully, some of the things were pretty bad. Lol, she still thought that they were wonderful and always told me what an artist I was before she set the item out for display.)

Now that I'm a mom, I completely get it. Everything that my little Cairo makes for me is beautiful just because he made it and he's always so proud to give it to me. This is the 3rd year that I get to celebrate being his mom so I wanted to share my happiness with all of you.
