Hello!
Look what’s finally bound off & all blocked out!! 😆😆😆
I’m so in love with this sample of my Naiad Shawl & so excited that the pattern will be launching next week!!
(Pssstt: You can get it for 50% off now as an early bird special on Ravelry and then this revised version will magically appear in your inbox when it's released on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.)
For this design I used MJ Yarns One Ewe singles in his Jubilee colorway along with almost 1,200 beads in 6 different colors.
Personally, I wanted the look & feel of all the beads in this project. Not everyone wants to add quite that many beads (or do a bobble bind off over 328 stitches), so I’ve written the pattern to account for each knitter’s preferences.
There are 5 different lace & texture stitch patterns that are all completely interchangeable within the basic shawl pattern as well as 2 types of bind-offs.
So, whether you want all the beads & bobbles like this one or you’re feeling more like garter-stitch & simple lace leaves are your jam right now, you’ll be able to whip up a gorgeous summery shawl.
Naiad only takes 2 skeins of fingering-weight yarn & I happen to know a certain Dyer who would be happy to hook you up if you’d like to use the same colorway used in mine. 😉
I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Happy knitting! 😘
Shaina ^_^
